Using the site or sending an inquiry does not create a therapist-client relationship. A clinical relationship begins only after required intake, informed-consent, eligibility, and scheduling steps are completed and accepted by the practice.

Services are subject to provider availability, clinical appropriateness, licensure, location, and applicable law. Telehealth services may be available only when the client is physically located in a jurisdiction where the treating clinician is authorized to practice.

Clinical policies concerning fees, cancellation, records, telehealth, and informed consent may be addressed in separate service agreements. If those terms conflict with these website Terms regarding clinical services, the signed clinical agreement controls.

SMS messaging terms

Consent and message types

When you check the optional SMS consent box, otherwise provide express consent, or initiate a text conversation with us, you agree to receive conversational and appointment-related text messages from Starlight Counseling Collective, LLC at the mobile number you provided. Messages may include responses to inquiries, scheduling coordination, appointment reminders, paperwork reminders, and limited service-related notices.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or receiving counseling services. The website SMS checkbox is optional and is not preselected. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number provided and are authorized to consent.

Frequency, charges, and delivery

Message frequency varies based on your interactions and appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers and service availability may change.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may receive one final confirmation message. After opting out, no further SMS messages are sent unless you opt in again, except as otherwise permitted by law. Reply HELP for help, call 725-253-2373, or email support@starlightcounseling.center.

Privacy and health information

SMS is not appropriate for emergencies, urgent needs, or detailed clinical information. Do not text diagnoses, symptoms, treatment details, or other sensitive information. Review the SMS Privacy section, including our commitment not to share mobile opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing or promotional purposes.

Number changes

Tell us promptly if your mobile number changes or is reassigned. You agree to opt out before discontinuing a number. We may suspend or terminate messaging to protect privacy, comply with law, address carrier requirements, or prevent misuse.

Permitted website use

You may use the website only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not interfere with site operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malicious code; scrape or harvest personal information; impersonate another person; submit false or unlawful material; or use the site in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

Website text, design, graphics, branding, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Starlight Counseling Collective, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view or print a reasonable copy for personal, noncommercial use, but may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit site materials without written permission.

Availability and disclaimers

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that the site or electronic communications are free from harmful components or that information is complete or current.

Third-party links are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party sites, content, products, privacy practices, or availability.

Limitation, governing law, and changes

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starlight Counseling Collective, LLC and its owners, clinicians, employees, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the website or SMS program. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or affects rights available under applicable health-care law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not governed by a separate signed clinical agreement must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Clark County, Nevada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable signed agreement, contain the relevant agreement regarding the site and SMS program.

We may revise these Terms. Changes become effective when posted with a new effective date, unless another date is stated. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
